Dental Tech Srl, with registered office in Via G. di Vittorio, 10/12 – 20826 (MB), Italian VAT no. 05285500962 (hereinafter “Data Controller”), as data controller, informs you, pursuant to art. 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 30.6.2003 no. 196 (hereinafter, “Privacy Code”) and art. 13 of EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (hereinafter, “GDPR”) that your data will be processed in the manner, and for the purposes, listed below:
1. Purpose of data processing
The Data Controller processes personal data (i.e.: name, surname, company name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, bank and payment details – hereinafter, “personal data”, or simply “data”) that you have communicated in connection with contracts for the services of the Data Controller (purchases, registration for courses or events, subscription to the newsletter, or downloading from the website www.dentaltechitalia.com).
2. Data Security
Data is stored and controlled through the adoption of appropriate, preventive security measures aimed at minimising the risks of loss and destruction, unauthorised access, and processing which is not permitted, or is incompatible with the purposes for which processing is performed.
3. Access to personal data
Your data may be made accessible for the purposes listed in point 5:
– to employees and collaborators of the Data Controller, in their capacity as internal personnel appointed to process or manage data, and/or system administrators;
– to third-party companies or others (including, but not limited to credit institutions, professional firms, consultants, insurance companies for the provision of insurance services, etc.) who perform outsourced activities, on behalf of the Data Controller, in their capacity as external collaborators responsible for the processing of data.
4. Methods of processing
The processing of your personal data is performed through the operating methods indicated in art. 4 of the Privacy Code and art. 4 no. 2) of the GDPR and, more precisely: collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction; Your personal data is subjected to both hard copy and electronic/automatic processing.
5. Purposes of processing
We only collect and process personal data if permitted by law, and if you have provided your prior consent. We process and store your data for the period required by the law or until the purposes for which the data was collected have reasonably been achieved;
The purposes of processing depend upon your interaction with us:
a. Contact and information requests. We use your personal data to process and respond to any contact and information requests.
b. Purchases. . We use your personal data for our database records, to prepare your orders and for invoicing purposes. Your data is also processed by our partners who ship and deliver the products you have ordered.
c. Offline and online marketing. We use your personal data to provide you with information about our products, services, training courses and events in the field of dentistry. These activities may be carried out by means of telephone, email or newsletter (transmitted by the Mailchimp platform).
d. Registrations for courses and events. We use your personal data to complete registrations for courses and events, including related invoices, and to provide you with information related to the course or the event, itself. Where applicable or indicated, your data is also processed by our partners who work with us to manage and organise courses and events.
e. Online applications. When you apply for a job position, or a training opportunity with us, we use and process your address, telecommunications data, and the data provided on the application, for the purpose of processing and assessing your application and to contact you.
6. Data sharing
Your personal data may be shared with third-party service suppliers, distributors or other partner companies of Dental Tech Srl who are appointed to prepare your orders, your requests, and registrations for courses and events.
Our service suppliers, distributors and other partner companies may process your personal data exclusively for our purposes. Any personal data shared with third parties and affiliates is subject to their compliance with our terms regarding privacy and confidentiality.
The Data Controller may also communicate your data, for the purposes given in art. 2, to supervisory bodies, judicial authorities, insurance companies for the provision of insurance services, as well as those subjects to whom communication is required by law for the fulfilment of said purposes. Said subjects will process the data, acting as autonomous data controllers.
7. The right to object to the processing of data
You have the right to object to us processing your personal data for reasons related to your particular situation pursuant, however, to applicable legal requirements or rights.
Specifically, the Data Subject has the right to:
a. Withdraw consent at any time. The Data Subject may withdraw their prior consent to the treatment of their own Personal data.
b. Object to the processing of personal Data. The Data Subject may object to the processing of their personal Data when it occurs on a legal basis other than consent. Further details on the right to object are provided in the section below.
c. Right of access to your own Data. The Data Subject has the right to obtain information regarding the Data processed by the Data Controller, certain aspects of processing, and to receive a copy of the processed Data.
d. Verify and ask for rectification. The Data Subject has the right to verify their Personal Data is correct, and ask for the rectification of inaccurate information.
e. Right to restriction of processing. When certain conditions are met, the Data Subject can request the restriction of processing of their Personal Data. In this case, the Data Controller will not process the Data for any purpose, with the exception of storage.
f. Right to obtain erasure of Personal Data (‘right to be forgotten’). When certain conditions are met, the Data Subject can request the erasure of their Personal Data on the part of the Data Controller.
g. Right to data portability The Data Subject has the right to obtain their Personal Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and, where technically feasible, have the right to transmit those data to another controller. This provision is applicable when the Data processing is carried out by automated means and processing is based on consent given by the Data Subject, on the contract to which the Data subject is a party, or related contractual measures.
h. Right to lodge a complaint. The Data Subject may lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority for protection of processing of personal data, or seek a judicial remedy.
If you oppose to the processing of your data or wish to withdraw to prior consent, send a brief message to either the email, or postal, addresses provided in section 9.

As mentioned in point 7, you also have the following rights: rectification (art.16 GDPR); erasure (art.17 GDPR); restriction to processing (art.18 GDPR); to object to processing (art.21 GDPR), and the right to data portability (art.20 GDPR) pursuant to the requirements, or rights, as provided by the law.

The updated list of managers and personnel appointed to data processing is preserved and available for consultation at the offices of the Data Controller.
